The Charles E. Kaufman Foundation, part of The Pittsburgh Foundation, announces every year its support for cutting-edge scientific research at institutions across the State of Pennsylvania. The grant-making program, which is a major resource for scientific research in the state of Pennsylvania, will award funding annually. It was made possible through a $53 million bequest from Charles E. Kaufman, the largest gift ever made to the Foundation.
